BBC Pravda

I didn’t agree with the anti-democracy protest/riot in London which followed the Conservative election win (what condition would our country be in if everybody rioted when their party was defeated at the ballot boxes?) but for such events to go unreported by the most trusted news outlets in the land – those on the televisions inside our homes – is downright sinister.
It has in recent years become a habit of broadcasters, of the BBC most of all, to ignore large political demonstrations in the heart of the capital, whether the issue be NHS privatisation, cuts to services, or in the aforementioned case simply sour grapes at their perennial and reliable Tory hate-figures winning another term in office. Like these scenes or loathe them, they must be reported or you leave yourselves open to accusations of partiality.
If it weren’t for the internet we would know nothing about these or a great many other stories. It makes one wonder what depth of secret history went unnoted before the World Wide Web opened our eyes.
