What a depressing week in the news.
We can only hope those poor kids taken to ISIS by their mums aren’t strapped into bomb vests or married off.
I know some terrorist pawns are groomed outside of their families – there will always be children who go off the rails despite the best efforts of good parents; all that hard work undone by the children of bad parents – but regarding those unfortunate enough to have been brought up with anti-Western views by their nearest and dearest, the best outcome is that the phenomenon of young relatives running away to join extremist groups, where they are likely to be sacrificed by pawn-masters, will put a lot of people off of espousing extremist views around their young. Careless talk costs lives.
